Tried to update from OS X Lion to OS X Mountain Lion on my Macbook Unibody and it locked and asked for a pin. The pin I had entered was incorrect and I had to carry it to a computer specialist. He unlocked it and it went back to OS X Snow Leopard. Since the pin has already been cracked, would I be able to update it now?

I suggest that you make your title a bit more informative. It will help folks know whether they can help you or not.
1. Much more detail please. What was the computer doing at the time of the "locking"? Did you launch the ML installer app? What was the message in the dialog that asked for a PIN. Were you unable to retry the PIN?
2. There is no way that a Mac can just "go back" to Snow Leopard from Lion. Your Specialist must have reinstalled Snow Leopard. I would ask him what he did exactly.
3. The closest thing to a PIN I can imagine in the whole process is the password for your AppleID, which you might need when starting a download from the Mac App Store.

That is a PIN lock caused by a remote iCloud lockdown of a Mac. This is ordinarily used by the owner to lock down a stolen machine.
I kind of feel like we are missing part of the story here.
An iCloud lockdown like this is tied to the system firmware and you reinstalling the OS is not going to remove it. You need to take it to the Apple Store with proof you own the machine and they can remove the PIN lock for you.

Other than that, I can only think of an Open Firmware password lock.
And im quite surprised he said someone removed the EFI lock. That theoretically isn't possible.\
EDIT: Sorry, didnt see it was a MB Unibody. Can be removed by just removing the RAM chips.
