ok guys,

Tonight I tried installing my ssd and ram..

I’m sure I have done everything correctly but on boot up when Trying to install high Serria, I cannot see my ssd at all and so cannot install HS?

Should I have formatted my ssd before , all I done was put it from the box..

Help please!!

What year/model is your mini? Many people, including myself, had similar issues installing SSD into 2012 minis. It is very easy to accidentally detach the SATA cable from the board during re-assembly when re-installing the wifi antennae.

Some how, it is working now. I used a external caddy with a 120gb SSD and when booting up to the disk utility, suddenly under "internal" the 240gb SSD was recognised and I installed macOS HS no problem..

Computers are weird things for sure..
