Hello

Can someone please help me?

I have a Mac app that encrypt files and i have encrypted a lot of videos, but something went wrong and the app was deleted and all the videos couldn't be unencrypted or found.

But when i get the info of the folder that i put them in, i found that the folder size was not change and the videos are still there but encrypted and hidden. So, i have unhide them using the terminal app in my mac.

Fortunately, all the videos have came back with its original sizes, but they are not in video format, and when i click on info, the video media format is written as (package) and do not play, and when i open the package i found all the small files in the package as bands in TextEdit Document format.

My question is: how can i get my videos back please?

Thanks

You might want to provide some more details on what exactly you did to encrypt mentioned files. i.e. What app did you use, what keys did u use, etc.

I'd assume you need the decryption keys corresponding to the encryption keys used in order to decrypt the encrypted files. Without keys I'd assume you're out of luck...

I used MacKeeper app to encrypt the videos.
