i figure this is a good place to post this since a ton of iphone genius's are on here lol!
ok so i was wondering
is there a way if someone emails you an email to your iphone, can u find out the phone number they're emailing you from (they have an iphone too)
like i only kno their email but i want their cell number. is there a way?

i dont think there is, since the whole thing is processed through the internet. the fact that it was ent from a phone doesnt matter. unless you get the person to tell you thier phone number in the email of course.:cool:

Correct. It is sent via the internet. It has nothing to do with phone services or cels. That is why you have "phone" service (for the phone) and "data" service (for the Internet) on your bill; two different animals.

You could get their IP (which is an Internet "phone number"), but not their iPhone phone number. Unless, of course, it is in their signature.
