Help please

Hi

I am trying to find out if i can attach my Macbook which i bought in the US to a TV here in France? which leads would i need to do so.?
I am trying to watch DVDs through my Mac but on the TV screen, is this possible or is the fact that the Mac maybe NTSC and the tv be PAL a issue? or watch internet streaming or downloaded music etc..

Thanks for the tip but even though my Macbook was bought in teh US making the DVD player NTSC do's that matter if the TV is probably PAL ( or are TV's even set to a region ? )
