I recently purchased an used Mac Pro late 2013 model (MacPro 6,1). Cosmetically, the system appears to be in excellent condition. Internal hardware appears to be all good as well, except for a bizarre behavior with the port lights on the rear panel. The port lights turns on briefly when the machine is powered on. However, the lights do not turn on if I move or turn the machine. I am obviously worried that there is a faulty sensor issue with the machine's internal accelerometer. Given the system's excellent cosmetic condition, however, I don't that the machine has been abused physically by the original owner. Moreover, I notice that the seller has used OpenCore Legacy Patcher to install macOS Sequoia on the system, and I am wondering if this may be a software issue. I can't find any info online on how to troubleshoot this port lights issue. According to the seller (with whom I no longer have contact), this machine has all stock parts and has never been serviced.

Can someone please share some helpful troubleshooting steps?

I am doing that right now, but I like to know if this port light issue has been encountered by others before due to a software glitch caused by some issue I am overlooking. I hate to falsely attribute it to a hardware failure in the Mac Pro if it is not the case.

Update: Downgraded to Monterey. Port lights on I/O wall still not functioning. Argh....
