hey guys

i have this problem with the wireless keyboard of my imac 2017 whenever i press the caps lock my keyboard just stop working and the only way to make my keyboard to work again is going to the input in the menu bar and change from british to u.s or u.s to british when i do that the caps lock turn off and the keyboard start working again.

yes my computer is up to date with the latest software.

1. Open "Keyboard" preference pane
2. Click "modifier keys" (lower right)
3. For the Caps Lock key, select "no action"
4. Close Keyboard pref pane
5. Done.

i did as u suggested me and now the cap locks doesnt work anymore so i have to shift to make caps letters but is there a way to fix the caps lock button..??

is it the keyboard that is broken and need to be replaced..?? or is there a way around for it.

Well the instructions he told you to do disabled the Caps Lock key. So it makes sense that it doesn't do anything now.

I would test a different keyboard on your computer and see if its Caps Lock key does the same thing. If it doesn't then it is your keyboard that isn't working properly. If it does then it is your computer acting funny.
