Hey guys,

I'm looking to sell my old Mac Pro setup, and was wondering if any of you had a good idea of what to ask for it. Also, if anybody is near Vancouver, BC and wants to buy it from me send me a pm!

Mac Pro 5,1
2 x 2.4GHz Quad-Core Xeons (8 core)
64GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC RAM
NVIDIA GTX 680 2048MB
1TB Samsung EVO SSD Boot/System Drive
1TB Media HDD

SansDigital TowerRAID TR8X+HP mini-SAS Enclosure (8 Bay)
ARECA 1223X PCI-E Raid Card
8x WD RE4 2TB HDD's, plus a spare
(Configured RAID5 for 14TB usable space)

I sold one recently next door ( Alberta ) almost the same but with 2, 2T data drives and 2 1T SSD's and the best I could get for it was $1750 CDN. ( 30% wear on SSD'S from lots of rendering )

1223's are going for about $130 CDN used
TRX with no drives I would say around 350 CDN as they are about 400 USD new now, minus card. add in 250 if you have the RAID card.
the drives are 120-140 CDN New ... so say about 85-100 each.
no clue on the HP SAS enclosure but I know an HP 12 bay SAS 2U rackmount can be had for $350 CDN

so complete I would estimate. a low of $2900 and a high of $3700.

FWIW, I paid about $1800 for the 5,1 in my sig; 2x hex-core 3.46GHz, 64GB 1333MHz memory, 480GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 680 2GB. I'd say you'd be at about $1500 for the Mac since you have the 2.4GHz CPus, not sure about the storage hardware.
