help pwnage tool iphone 3g

i used pwnage tool to unlock 1 gen iphone to 2.1 successfully

now i tried to same method with the iphone 3g and i get a null null as my carrier with no bars


am i doing something wrong

o yea iam following

hate to break this out to you my friend, but the iPhone 3g cannot be unlocked using any software. You can however purchase a REBEL SIM CARD (google it up) n unlock your phone. That's what I am doing n it works like a charm

do i place the rebel sim thing next to the sim card and it will work?
or do i need to do something else?

go to rebelsim.com (or something like that, just google it up).. It's pretty easy
