Hey there people, I have a serious problem!
I have QT Pro 6.5 and bought the additional MPEG2 plugin. Suddenly, Quicktime refuses to accept .m2v files and .vob files, which should be working. So, I redownloaded the plugin from the Apple store and reinstalled it. Nope, still no go.
Strangely enough, I have two MPEG-2 export options now, one with usual options and another with only 5 presets available. Does anyone know what happened? How can I fix this?

I too have this error. On my powerbook I have qt pro w/ the mpeg2 plugin and it will open .vob files but on my new DP G4 I can not get the qt pro w/ the mpeg2 plug in to work.

Did you ever figure out how to get it to work?

Yes, I finally was able to locate my error.
There is a MPEG2 plugin for Quicktime 6.4. However, Quicktime 6.5 requires an UPDATED plugin, which you can redownload from the Apple Store. The new installer package reads "Quicktime 6.4 and later" and not only "Quicktime 6.4". Also, check your Software update application, it could be updated on that way too.

If there is still a problem, let me know.
