Hey, all! Long-time listener, first-time caller...
Somehow I used to be able to use Quick Look to see more detailed stats of a file--most importantly [1] the version number of Mac apps (*.app), and [2] the details of audio files (artist, title, bitrate, etc.) instead of playing the audio.
Then one day Quick Look just stopped doing that and went back to its default behavior. But that was at least 6 months ago, and unfortunately my TBI brain can't remember if there were any significant system changes around that time (i.e. updated macOS update, uninstalled some app, etc.).

Can someone help me? I'm even willing to BUY an app if it will achieve what I'm after.
Thanks in advance!

QuickLook on my stock 10.12.6 Sierra install does all those things .

Example - FireFox and Safari shows version, filesize etc.

I assume this is the type of info you were referring to?
