I tried the recover internet mode put keeps saying that there is an error and I should try this application again. I am not sure what I can do next. If anyone can helps I would highly appreciate it! This may not help, but...
1. Boot to internet recovery again
2. Open disk utility
3. IMPORTANT STEP -- go to the view menu and choose "show all devices"
4. Click the "top line" on the left that represents the internal drive
5. Now erase it to Mac OS extended with journaling enabled, GUID partition format
6. Try the installer again

Something you may have realized by now:
It IS NOT a very good idea to erase a Mac's internal drive UNLESS you have a bootable cloned backup of that drive. You can make one with CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper (both are free to download and use for 30 days)
