So I erased all disk content in the recovery mode, and now whenever I do the reinstall macOS thing and I agree to the stuff, I go to the screen showing “macOS Big Sur will be installed on the disk” and it is stuck on 2 hours and 19 mins and it’s not progressing

Do you have access to the internet router? (does it belong to you?)
Restart the router (unplug the power cord, then plug back in), wait for it to reconnect, then try your download again.
If you still get the "2 hours 19 minutes remaining" (or longer, you could ... wait for 2 hours, if it takes that long.
Do you see any change after 1 or 2 hours?

But, faster to boot to a USB bootable installer, and install that way.
Do you have another Mac that you could use to make a bootable installer?
