Hello,
I have been researching numerous ways to reset the autocorrect when I type something.
This is how I have added words:
"Type the word in any app (e.g., Messages) followed by a spacebar and let it be "corrected." Then type a backspace and other options including your original "wrong" spelling will appear above the autocorrected word. Tap the one that matches your original typing. That will change it back to the way you entered it and also adds it to the dictionary."
So I tried this:
"Click the desktop to bring focus to Finder, then hit shift-command-g and paste ~/Library/Spelling/ in the box, then enter. In that folder you will see a file called LocalDictionary. Open that file with Text Edit and remove whatever words you want then save the file. Logout and back in to reset the Dictionary after this."
and I could not find a local dictionary file but I know I added words to my personal dictionary.
Anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate any help!
