Help! Screen Recording on iPad in iOS 10?

I have spent nearly a week trying to find a working solution to do screen recording on my iPad 4 running iOS 10.3.1. The device is jailbroken.

I have a license for Display Recorder, but it is of no use since the app does not work in iOS 10 (only up to iOS 9). I tried CCRecord and CCRecorder, both of which do not work on iPad because the orientation of the video is all mixed up (the video is incorrectly stretched because of orientation errors).

Can someone please tell me what other solutions I can use that will work for an iPad? The articles I read on this subject always used an iPhone to do the recording when testing the apps. Thus, I am not able to find a reliable info when use such apps on an iPad.

Someone mentioned to me about Vidyo. It is an app with supposedly screen recording ability that has been pulled from the App Store so it is no longer available.

You should be able to do this with your Macintosh computer, a Lightning cable, and QuickTime Player:

I neglected to mention that I am looking for a single on-device solution using only the iPad, so no external mirroring or cables. Thanks, flaubert, for the reminder.
