Help setting up @live mail acct on ipad

I am getting this error code after i click mail/ other :
"cannot get mail the username or password for pop3.live.com is incorrect"

But it isn't incorrect..

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated as i have to have this email for work.

I have the same problem, I could not get any mail from my Ipad or Ipod since yesterday afternoon.

I configured my username and password using the POP account information box from the mail account setup process.

I can access my hotmail account using my internet browser (same username and password that the ones registered in the Ipad.

I go to mail settings
Select other


Enter name
Enter full username ie ipadfiend@live.com
Password

It auto fills in the pop3 as pop3.live.com and the smtp as well.

Now it is working again, I dleted my mail account in the Ipad and I Created again, in that process I got the same error several times, and I do not know how, but it is working again!!!

Nope.mine still isn't working. Just keeps telling me that my password for pop3.live.com is wrong.

I'm getting really upset.
