Hi

I had an older Ipad Air I want to give my son, he is 10 and I set up a family share account for him. This ipad is my old ipad and has my info on it. I cannot figure out how to take my info off and set this ipad up for him with his apple family account?

when i tried just setting it up with his info it said icoud not a valid email etc

I want to control it like the family share seems to do, purchases etc, but mainly i want to message with him since we don't live in the same place

on my ipad i set up family share and an account for him. but this old ipad has my info on it and he has been using it for a while now. I just discovered family share and now want to convert that ipad to his own ipad but with his child account info

can someone tell me how to do that or show me where to get the info converting an already set up ipad with my info to a child family share account?

thanks so much

Did you sign out of your iCloud and then erase the device? are you sure the Apple ID email address is valid? What iOS version is the device using?
