HELP! Speed Dial Icon's

Is there anyway to make speed dial list on your home screen? I am surprised that no one have done that program so far ... which is very simple... choose picture, put the number.

Is any one have tryed to do something like that?

I just tried to use web application to do something like that.. it was ridiculous

Do you know about double-clicking the home button to bring up Favorites?
