My wife put our SR MBP to sleep but didn't wait until it was fully asleep before shutting the lid and moving it into another room. The apple lit up and when I opened it up the system had been frozen. I had to do a ctrl cmmd power restart. Here's the hang log. Is this because she's moving it before the HD is asleep and the HD gets messed with?

Wouldnt worry that much unless it becomes a serious issue. If it keeps on doing that then you better get it checked but otherwise unfortunately computers are computers (even Macs) and do sometimes not work right.

As long as your MBP is still functioning correctly there is nothing to be worried about.

Hope that helps. :)

There's nothing wrong there in your system.log.

And why sleep it and then close the lid?

Closing the lid puts it to sleep. ;)
