i'm new at this...i just tried to manually change my fonts on my iphone, i downloaded this font file and replaced the Helvetica.ttf through SSH, the first time it worked. but i didn't like that font so i decided to replace the Helvetica.ttf file with Arial.ttf and pressed respring. and now i'm stuck on repsring for 15mins, even after i forced my iphone to turn off and turn back on...its still on respring. while it was repspring-ing i tried to undo everything through ssh by placing back the original helvetica.ttf file but it doesn't work. what can i do???? please help!!!!

You can restore, that is about your only option right now. Since you tried the hard reset, the next step is to restore. A restore will surely fix the problem but you will have to jailbreak again. I know people with jailbroken iPhones hate to hear that they have to restore, but sometimes it has to be done like in this situation. You took a risk when jailbreaking that problems like this or worse may occur and this is an example.

ya restore is what i was thinking about..sigh
so do i just click restore on itunes? or do i hold down option button then click restore so i can choose the "iphone1,1_2.1...CustomeRestore..." file pwnage tool made for me when i last updated the version on my iphone??
and do i just restore while its respring-ing like that or do i have to put it into some kind of mode or something??

Thank you so much in advance!

I am not familiar with the Custom Restore thing so I can't help there that much. You could try the Custom Restore and select the .ipsw file that Pwnage Tool made when jailbreaking. If restoring with the .ipsw file doesn't work then try a factory restore by just clicking the Restore button. God forbid that doesn't work, try a full Restore, i.e. Set Up a New Phone without a backup. I highly doubt you will have to go past the second step but if so the steps are here.:)
