iPhone [HELP] Text tone not playing when receiving an SMS.

I have a jailbroken iPhone 5 on 7.0.6. When I receive text message I don’t get any sound alert. I used to have the beta of biteSMS installed but I removed it to see if that fixes the problem but it doesn’t.
I am using the default ‘Note’ tone and have tried changing it to other tones but nothing seems to fix it. It’s very annoying because I have to keep checking my phone to see if messages are there.

Does anyone have any suggestions I can try to fix this?
