Hey guys so I've got an iMac mid 2007 24" model number a1225 and I'm having some issues with it.

When I try to boot up the computer I hear the chime and then the screen stays white and I get nothing.

I've replaced the hard drive so I know that's good.

I have software available to load I've tried loading into the bootloader by holding the option key and no luck.

Anyways if you guys could give me some advice that would be great! I'll continue to update this as I do more research and testing.

Ok so I tried both ram sticks at one time to see if maybe one of them was bad and with one of them in I was able to boot up the computer. the other one wouldn't boot and when I had the good ram in I tried the old hard drive and that was bad too.

So if anybody else runs into this problem You might try another hard drive AND different ram.
