Hey all,

It seems that I have another iPhone under the "Allow Calls On" list:

https://imgur.com/a/LAhINzf

I disabled that device, but it was enabled when I first saw the setting

Currently I have only one iPhone. When I sold my old iPhone I made sure that everything is wiped. I did a factory reset, made sure that I sign out of my Apple ID, etc.

So, my question is, what is this "iPhone (iPhone)" that is supposed to be receiving calls and how can I remove it from this list/Apple ID? Is this my actual phone?

Historically, my Apple ID has been used only on two iPhones - the current one and the old one that I no longer possess.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might chime in!

Give your iPhone a name and see if it changes
CHeck iCloud.com to see if there's a device registered with you

Hey! Nothing in iCloud, except for my phone. Also, the phone from the list can't be my current phone since it has an actual name, it's not just "iPhone (iPhone)".

You got any other suggestions? Thank you!

At this point, if it were me, I'd write Apple support and ask them what they think

Happy to report that after I changed my Apple ID password this setting disappeared in its entirety.

To anyone who's wondering.. that may work for you as well.

Thanks again for the suggestions!

Do you have a Mac? It sounds like you installed or restored OS X or MacOS without first signing out of iCloud on your iOS device. If that was the case, you would see what you described. And the only way to get rid of the duplicates, is to change your ID password.
