i need help. please excuse me i am pretty apple dumb. i am a iphone user though. i found a iphone 6s plus and when it turns on it says iphone disabled there is no sim in it. is there a way to reset the phone?

please help
 
You found it.
So it is not yours.
Quit messing with it.

You could place an ad in the lost and found section of your newspaper to return it to its rightful owner.
Or, put it back where you found it.
And walk away.

i did post an add and possted it on fb that was a year ago and i just refound it. none of that is any of your business. i want to give it to someone who needs a phone.
 
Apple's security makes it virtually unable to be used at this point unless you are the original owner with the passcode, etc.
They have no way of differentiating whether it was stolen, found or whatever, so without the passcode, it is a brick
