Hi,

I have an iPhone 2G (First gen) (8 Gig) which was 1.1.2 OTB, purchased from United States. I was using Firmware 2.2 and upgraded to Firmware 3.0.

I am using TurboSIM, so I can see my Carrier name and make calls using my SIM. However, I see the "slide for emergency" screen.

How do I get rid of this ??

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Sync to Itunes. It's backed up so you may have issues at first but just keep trying.

It loads up iTunes Store and tells me to insert a valid SIM or get a replacement SIM

When will QuickPwn for iPhone 2G release ?

I do not need a jailbreak, just need to by-pass Activation.....

Give it sometime as 3.0 was just released.

I am in the same position as the thread starter, I have downloaded and installed version 3.0 and now I need to wait for Quickpwn to get my phone back working.

Hope it gets released soon!

Its already ready, the DevTeam is just working on the 3G unlock and will release QuickPwn after the 3G unlock is ready, as both unlocks will have to be in the same version of QuickPwn...
