I upgraded my MacBook Pro to El Capitan and now I cannot get passed the iCloud set up window after restart. It recognizes my Apple ID and asks for my password. Then I enter my password and it takes me to agree to terms and after I agree it just goes back to the sign in with my Apple ID password screen. I have done this step so many times that I am about to lose it. I even went as far as changing my Apple ID password in case it was a user error on my part, but no change. Has anyone been here and know what to do to fix it.

I hate to say this but it sounds like you need to re instal El Capitan. Obviously you cannot do this yourself so a trip to an Apple service centre?

I chose the option to skip the iCloud sign in option and went to my App Store and through the purchases chose to download El Capitan even though I had already done that. I let it go through the download and install process all over again and still had the same result.

Do you have a working internet connection when you attempt to enter your password? Check the WiFi network selection in the top menu bar to ensure you are connected before entering your password.
Yes my wifi is connected.
