I am uploading an app to the itunes connector using the program application loader and I keep getting this error

No icon specified in the Info.plist, and no default Icon.png or icon.png found directly under the app wrapper
Unable to verify icon dimensions, no icon found
Info.plist does not contain a CFBundleResourceSpecification
Application failed codesign verification. Please see the console log for additional details

I had some problems with my final build where the .app folder would not compress all of the contents - when I created the zip file it was much smaller than the .app folder I was compressing (like 8MB down to 48Kb - way too small.)

I worked around it by copying the .app file from the build folder, pasting it to my desktop, and compressing it from there. Worked fine.

I still couldnt get it to work after I did that so I just sent it to apple directly through an email and they accepted it

It isn't required that you use the app loader application. I've never used it. You can upload your files directly on the upload page.
