Help, What do I use to convert RM,RMVB videos

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the best converting program I can use to convert RM, RMVB video files to put in my apple tv. I am currently using MACBook Pro running in Leopard.
Please help.

There are probably people who can answer this better but since none of them are here...

The answer is "You can't".

Unfortunately realvideo and its variants are destination formats, not designed for transcoding. This is very frustrating no question but there is no simple solution.

I say no simple solution, there is an irritatingly complex one. A bunch of people called Helix or something like it (? from memory) have some kind of real encoder/decoder open source type thing going. It's a long time since I looked into it but google around at you can probably find the project website. They seem to have some sort-of solutions but to be frank it all looked to "raw" for me to use.

I'm hoping someone has a better answer but I haven't found anything myself...
