Help! What's happened?

I've got a JPEG file that has converted itself overnight into an IVUE file. The icon has changed into a 'page' with a belt tightly pulled around it, with IVUE written white out of a purple band and what looks like a cockrel on a blue background top left. I can't open it in anything - anyone got any ideas?

Did you try type the extension .jpg onto the back of it?

Yep tried that. No joy. Don't know what else to try...
