So some friends of mine have a "band" and i just want to pull a little prank on them. Will you help. What i want to do is make an exact copy of their myspace except for the name which i will later change to "The real ____" Of course i could manually reconstruct the background and download the pictures and stuff but my problem is the songs on their profile dont have the download option so i cant use them. Is there a way just to "rip off" the whole webpage? I swear this is just a harmless prank im not tryin to be mean or anything these are some of my best friends.

Just thought of one more thing that i might be able to use. Is there a program that will let you record the audio output of your computer? so i could just listen to the songs but record them into separate files then rename and upload them.

AudioHiJack, iRecordMusic, and several others will let you do that. Alternatively, you can just get the embed address of their whole flash player, probably (e.g. if you have adblock in Firefox, hit apple-shift-f, click on the music player, and then cut the address of the entire music player out of the box). Then you can probably just directly embed their music player in your page. :)

A program called "SiteSucker" will allow you download an entire site, or just a page, or whatever, so that will work for the myspace thing. It may even download the audio from their site, too, so you might not need the next program.

AudioHijack will allow you to record anything that gets played through the speakers of your Mac, so you can rip the songs/music if you want.

EDIT: mkrishnan, you have beaten me like 3 times today! Dang you! :)

Please elaborate on this

Rasheem, if you look at the MySpace page, the music player is a flash object inside EMBED tags. It should look loosely like this -- the stuff after the ? defines the settings and the songs it loads.

Code:
http://lads.myspace.com/mini/mini.swf?b=MjI3NTQ4NjM=&o=Mzc3OTI5NzM=&d=MTE2OTQ5MDQwNQ==&u=aHR0cDovL211c2ljcGxheWVyLm15c3BhY2UuY29tLw==&t=6zQdOWiAfucNU9mmz7dttqYOO5szIRNcnRhxAPU6hy46dYg+RMDzOAjMzugcQEN1nL/MBEEqYGmzl21vrLvc1Q==&i=MA==&a=VHJ1ZQ==

Just an update! The Prank is working marvelously! A bunch of kids added me and now one of the band members is startin to get pissed
