I just got the iPhone XS Max and I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good ad blocking app to use with safari

I purchased ad guard pro, but I find it very confusing to use and operate especially wit the DNS settings and which one to enable. Does anyone have any good and easy to use ad blocking apps?

What about settings?
Likewhat the preferred settings
Yes, iOS devices & Mac.

There's not a whole lot of options but it just updates & blocks all ads which is what it's designed to do. I'm sure they have a website so you can read more about it.
Have you used it yourself?
I am not really good with tech like that so do I have to do anything specifically or do I just purchase the app and its all good to go? Like do I need to set anything up for it to block ads well etc?

AdGuard is on of the best. Have you looked through their FAQ and general questions page?

I paid for ad guard pro but didn't understand it at all in terms of what settings to enable to block ads etc...

Purify seems to block them all & no settings. Just install & no ads ever again.

Exactly. That’s why you read the support page—to learn what the terms mean.

When one buys something, and doesn’t know how to use it, they ought to read about how to use it (not go and buy something else). o_O

But to counter your point this is why this forum exists does it now?
To help those who are unsure
I have read it but still a little confused as to which settings are best to operate hence the thread creation.

I am not exactly asking the most difficult question here. Just for help with settings or apps that are good but fairly basic to use ad blockers.

My suggestion, follow the app’s directions and read more.

Coincidentally, I didn’t think so either, yet here we find ourselves. o_O
