Hey guys.
I am the proud owner of my first mac, the mac pro. Very happy, especially with boot camp which has so far worked like a charm. The only problems I ran into was 1) Trying to play the new battlefield demo gave some sort of directx error, and 2) I have an external samsung lightscribe drive via usb that screws up windows (causes crashes) if I try to eject the drive in the mac with the keyboard.

Does anyone have any workarounds?

Thanks
Manoj

okay let me rephrase that.

Does anyone have an external dvd burner that works fine in xp boot camp?

Has anyone gotten the new battlefield 2000 or whatever demo to work?

Thanks
Mo

Well I got the problem with battlefield demo done, just needed updated direct x drivers.

CD/DVD external burner is still a problem. Once that is fixed, system will be in perfect condition

Thanks!
