hi
i have a brother laser print , i have downloaded the drivers MonoLaserFB12_2_UW_104.dmg for the brother printers

i have some problem with the brother printer , with the brother software (included drivers ) i can scan 1200x1200 dpi ,it's a minimilastic software included in the brinter

but with photoshop cc ,ExactScan Enterprise 23 and other softwares i can scan only 600x600 dpi , and many feature are limitated

under windows seems to work pretty well

is there a fix?
have you notice such problems with some printers under macos ?
do they use the printers drivers?
i still like sierra and high sierra
thanks

Have you tried "VueScan" ?

(I realize that it's "pay for" software, but I think you can still try it, just to see if you can obtain the resolution you want)

hi
yes , but it's exansive , i 'm paying for photoshop cc ,and i can't understand why it's so limited...
or other freesoftware , only the software bundle with brothers does it work pretty good
may i know why?
does macos use its own drivers and not brothers printer drivers?

thanks
