Hey it's Julien, and I'm new to .Mac. I am going to buy an apple laptop, and I don't know which to get! They're all so cool. I wanted to get a mac desktop, but I'm going to be moving around a lot, so that wouldn't work out too well.

I would be creating podcasts, playing games if the computer handles it well,
editing photos, storing things, creating websites, and just about everything that I hear .Macs are GREAT for.

I can't buy one over 2,000 bucks, which is actually sorta going overboard for me.

I looked at the cheapest MacBookPro, and I liked it. That is a lot though.
I also looked at the 14 inch iBook.
I don't really care for the 12" because it's too small.

*Could a friendly mac expert please give me their email, so that I could ask them some questions?

Thanks a whole bunch in advance.

And this post is a great example of why I think .Mac is a bad name for their online service.

Back on topic, wait until next week. The rumour is that new laptops are coming out :)

It's just "Mac". ".Mac" is a pay service from Apple.

Other than price, it sounds like the MacBook Pro is for you. Rumors have it that the MacBook (the Intel version of the iBook) will be out soon. Maybe you'll want to wait a little while and see.

Or you could just ask them here.
