Greetings!

I am looking to purchase an unlocked/jail broke/anysim iphone. I would like to be able to use it on T-Mobile. I think I understand the difference between a jail broke phone (able to install other apps) and an unlocked phone(able to use with any carrier). I would like both but as long as it is unlocked I can jail break it myself. Right?

What I need to know is what to check for when looking for this iphone. What version, firmware, bootloader and serial do I need to have to make sure it is an unlocked or unlockable iphone?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

well I know freeit4less sells unlocked iPhones that you dont have worry about getting bricked. To find out which week it is, you have to look at the 4th and 5th digit of the imei number.
