Removing an app icon from the Dock will have no effect on that app's files or folders, so your emails should be there. The Dock icon is just an alias (shortcut) pointing to the application. If you remove the alias, the app remains untouched. Try launching Outlook from your Applications folder in Finder.I did but I can't see any of my previous e-mails have I lost them all and do I have to set up a new e-mail account?
I could really do with some help with this guys.

Press the Option key while selecting Empty Trash.
No, it always shows Open and Empty Trash. Look at the Trash icon to see if it's empty. If you have a large number of items being deleted, it can take a while. Just be patient and let it finish. When I press the trash icon is only says open and empty the trash, is that because it is all ready emptying the trash, my god it is talking forever.

If you have a large number of items, yes, it's normal. Just let it finish. This has been deleting for nearly 45 minutes, I am taking off Microsoft office to reinstall it, at this rate it will take another 45 minus to finish, is that normal?
