Help with Emoji icons

When I press a few of the smiles I get letters. Most of the icons on certain pages. I reinstalled spell number, turned it off. Nothing. Same smiles work on my wife's phone. Anyone?

Uhhh, try installing emoji from a different source after you uninstall the current one.

Same thing happens to me with a few of them (like the thumbs up one) Maybe I'll give that link above me a try to fix it.

Thanks, but those are the same directions I followed twice now. How do you uninstall it? I removed spell number and turned off the jap option. Then reinstalled spell then turned jap back on. Same thing. Letters for some smiles.
