Help with entourage

I am having problems sending mail from my entourage account

I am linking it to my mac.com account and i can receive mail
however when i try to send i get an error saying a connenction failure has occured

any ideas - as it stands i have < smtp.mac.net > typed in as the SMTP server

what am i doing worng?

help please!
