Why the heck can't I bring a .fla file from Flash '04 into the previous version of Flash? Is there a way to save the file so that it can be read for the older version of Flash? The reason I need to know is because I have Flash '04 at home and school has MX. This is frustrating!

Any help?

It's fairly simple--Flash MX 2004 is more advanced.

The answer should be fairly simple also. As you'll see from the screenshot, you can save it as Flash MX instead of Flash MX 2004. Of course, you can't depend on any advanced functionality because it would be incompatible.
