Hi. Sorry if I posted to the wrong thread. But I just got the new iPhone 3G S. I had the old 3G iphone and I want to get some of my old notes but my phone says that it does not have a SIM card inserted. And when I try to go to the home screen, it just goes to the phone key pad to dial emergency. Is there no way of bypassing that? I just need to get/ view some of my old notes so I can copy them. I would really appreciate the help.

If you did a sync on your old 3g on a regular basis. When you first plug the new 3g s in and sync, I-tunes will ask if you want to sync as a new Iphone or sync it as "whatever you named your old phone" It wil then sync everything that was on the old phone. Mine even synced the voicemail messages that were on the old phone!

Thanks Kwik. Unfortunately, I did it as a new iPhone. I'm new to this whole thing :-/ Is there a way of re-doing that part?
