Hey,

I've been having quite shocking battery life since updating to 5.1 so today decided I would reset my iPhone and try with a fresh installation and restoration, however I am attempting to re install the apps through the iCloud backup and it keeps getting stuck on one app at about 30% through the progress bar. I can't even hold my finger on it to make it 'wait' or remove it from my phone. I've tried resetting the phone again and using another backup but the same problem continues.

Any ideas? I can't be losing some of the progress on my apps, some of which I have spent £20 on in game items which will also be lost :(

Managed to sort it, thanks anyway :)

Have you tried just leaving it alone. I'm doing an iCloud restore today as well and at the current rate it is going to take nearly 2 hours. You may just need to be patient.

EDIT: Hmmm, looks like I may have spoke to fast. I got one stuck now. :(

2nd Edit: Did a hard reset (power and home buttons at the same time). Once the phone rebooted the restore started up where it left off and is still progressing. :)

I agree. Some of the apps, particularly the iApps series, are huge! They can take a long, long time to download and install. If you have a lot of apps, you're probably looking at a lengthy session. Just be patient.
