Hi

I need a little help from you guys. Thinking of purchasing an Apple Watch Series 4 and came across this picture on internet. Really like it but don't know exactly what it is. Can anyone be so kind as to suggest what type of case this is i.e. Aluminium or Stainless Steel and what type and colour the Strap is please?

Yes, that's what it is. Cape Cod looks pretty nice!
Thank you for taking the trouble to confirm. Very useful to me. The problem I have now is fathoming colours depicted on the internet with the colours in REALITY. For example, I love the blue of the Sports Loop on the photo i supplied but when you see Cape Cod Blue e.g. on Apple sites the blue looks a lot more washed out and paler. In the photo it looks a deeper blue than what Cape Cod Blue appears to be really like. What to do? Tricky.

Yes, that is an issue for sure!

A lot of people on here request pics of the bands on their color watches in real light conditions. I try to post mine in inside light and direct sunlight, see my thread for Space Grey :)

In reality, I feel like it looks a little bit lighter than on the picture. I bought the same band in the Apple Store and felt a little bit betrayed by the lighting. The shade is lighter in sunlight. Also I feel like the perception of the color tone changes very much depending on the angle.

Indeed, these are also my concerns. I like the, apparent, deep blue on my associated picture but from many other depictions of the Cape Cod band I'm becoming convinced that in reality it is a lot lighter. What a bummer :(

I have found the lighting in the Apple Stores around the Watch band display to be a bit irksome - not reflective of exactly what you'll get outside, and the old-school static display table, with the watches in a central pit, under glass that's reflecting the ceiling lights - it's nice to see the watches, but it's awful to see them well - the newer "try on watches" table is much better for seeing the colors, but they only have a random few out on the table, though they have drawers in the table with most every band, it's just a bit annoying to have to ask. @twanj 's pics (and some others here) give a very good indication of what the bands actually look like.

Welcome to the World Wide Web. :) . That seems to be the case on a lot of things. I see something on Amazon and think it looks nice online but what does it look line IRL?
