Help with iFlicks

I hope someone out there can assist.

I have been ripping my DVDs and using iFlicks to add the Meta Data. This has worked great.

Recently maybe a month or so ago, When I linked a movie via iFlicks it gives me American English text, (that is what I want) but the movie jacket it installs is almost always a foreign version. Sometimes the movie name is even changed to the way it was released in a different country.

Does anyone know how to redirect it so I only get American movie jackets? I don't necessarily mind getting a different one except I cannot read what it says.

I am not sure I understand. Is identify a different program or is is a switch setting in iFlicks? I looked in iFlicks and did not see anything called identify.

yes identify is another taging app I find it very easy and they have great support for any issues

All I can think of is go into General Preferences and make sure "Metadata Language" is set to English.

I think you are using the automatic mode. You can search using the button next to the gear. Some movies have many option, try the others or find your own cover art. I agree with the other poster that identify2 app is better for detailed editing. I own and use both depending on the source, handbrake or MKV.

I have my language set to english, all the meta data comes in in English except the DVD Cover.

I do use the search it still returns the same foreign DVD jackets. I have tried looking at all the switches, it seem to be pointed at a wrong server location or something but I cannot figure it out.

The same thing happens on my parents WDTV Lve Hub, always getting a foreign cover, both that and iFlicks get the covers from TVDB or TMDB which have all the different languages, I used to use iFlicks but have since moved to iVI which I find so much better, it's cheap too from the App Store and if by chance it does select the wrong cover, you can easily scroll through to select another.
