Help with iMovie

Hello to everyone. I put a video together with some writing, and in the 'titles' section, I used the format of 'gravity lower third.' What I want to do is separate the writing with the video, so that the writing appears first, and then the video, but I can't seem to be able to do that. How do let the writing be first, and then have the video play? Thanks in advance.

You may need to add a blank frame for some number of seconds before your video starts. You can use one of the Backgrounds offered as shown below...

Just add your titles like you did before: Gravity Lower Third.
