Right side of wrong
so i'm trying to install bootcamp on my macbook, and when the xp disk loads and says "press enter to install", i press enter and nothing happens!! it's not seeing my keyboard. any ideas? is there anything i need to install first? (i've done all updates and installed bootcamp)

Did you try "Return" too?

This isn't the first (or likely) last thread on this topic, but I have yet to see one with the solution!

Does the disc you are using have SP2?

thanks, i finally got it figured out (with help from the apple forums). i had to unplug my mighty mouse and plug up my usb apple keyboard in the first usb slot and then restart and then it worked.

OK. This seems to be common.

No external mouse, but an external keyboard is desirable.

Can you post a link to the apple discussions page where you found the solution for the next thime this comes up. ;)

please check and make sure that it doesn't log you in as me

but it would not work with the mouse and keyboard in at the same time
