Got a few questions.

1) How to share my iTunes library across OSes?
2) My Samsung ML-1740 printer doesn't work with my new Mac Mini. Anybody know where I can get a driver for it? I've tried the old driver by running Printer Setup through Rosetta, I've tried Gimp-print and CUPS, which doesn't work. Any other ideas?
3) If there are no drivers, any printer recommendations?
 
I don't know about the printer but extrapolate a little on this iTunes thing. Are you wanting two computers to have identical yet separate libraries? Are you merely wanting to transfer the library? Are you looking for something more than the inbuilt sharing iTunes has (in the iTunes preferences) whereby computers on the same network with iTunes open can see and play music from different machines? :)

Maybe in a similar way to how I share mine over my network?

I have my iTunes music folder on a Windows share. iTunes on the local PC has that folder set as its library.

On my Mac I then connected to the share and also set it as the library in iTunes. I unticked "Copy files to iTunes music folder" and then added the lot via File > Add to Library. Disabling Copy files is important or it'll try and import the songs all over themselves and get really confused...

So in your case you'd establish the iTunes library on the larger partition, then mount (i assume?) that partition on the other OS and also set it to the library. Then use Add to Library to populate the second copy of iTunes.

Oh I dunno, it's late here. :)
 
To clarify, I was referring to having both OSes on my Intel Mini use the same library.

I have a feeling I'll need to get a new printer ... sigh.
 
Sweet. I never thought to look for a PPD.

Advice to people whose printers don't work: look for a PPD.

I believe you'll have to load your library on an external hard disk that both your OSes will be able to read.
My understanding is that, through boot camp, your Windows partition won't be able to see your Mac one and viceversa, so you can't really share anything between the two OSes.

Still, I have no intel mac and I avoid Windows like the plague so I really don't have a great knowledge on the matter... more expert macrumorers might know better. :)
 
You could always get a network drive as well, and put your library on that. When you hook it up to your router, all computers on the network will be able to access the music library and any other files on it as well. I did this for a while, and even shared files wirelessly with my Powerbook. Good times, those were.

If you get a piece of software like MacDrive, your Windows installation will be able to read and write to your Mac HFS+ volume without any problems, so you could just store your library there and then use MacDrive. OR, if your Windows partition is going to be 32GB or less, you could format it as FAT32 instead of NTFS, so that your OS X installation could read AND write to it (NTFS volumes are read-only) and store the library there.
