Hey guys, I have a question. I work for a newspaper, and I get a million messages in my inbox each day. I have certain addresses from employees etc, forward to my personal account so that I can get their e-mails on my iPhone. I don't want to set up my work account on the iPhone, because it will beep 24 hours a day. But I'd still like to be able to reply from my work address, through the iPhone mail app, without having to log into gmail.

So basically what I want to do is set up my work account in the mail app, but disable incoming messages, but have outgoing enabled. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

give it the wrong incoming mail settings but the correct outgoing mail settings.

there aren't settings for this sort of thing, but that would be the way to do it.
