Sorry, yes I posted this in the iTunes & Ipod section but you guys are usually quicker and I am freaked out about syncing my iPhone until the library looks rights on the computer. See story below.

So I brought my PC in to a local shop that added an internal HD for me. They moved MY Music folder with the iTunes library to another drive (the new one). I open iTunes and nothing is there. How (PLEASE USE LITTLE EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS) do I get the library with all my music and ringtones back into iTunes. I have searched here and other forums and only talks about moving library away to aother places. I have no trouble with it being on the new drive just want iTunes to see it. This has to be easy and I hope someone can help me. Thanks. I have windows XP if that matters. I can find the iTunes folder with all the music on what is now the D drive.

Signed, affraid to synch my iPhone until the library is back to normal. :(:(:eek::eek:

Try going into preferences/settings and under advanced change the library location from the old one to the new location.

Nope nothing. I tried import the library.itl file and nothing happens at all. It has to be somthing easy I am just missing. I would think the import would do something it does nothing at all.

I experienced the exact same problem as i was unaware how to re-add the music to iTunes.
