I got stuck at the jailbreaking step... It just stops at "sending requests" and never moves on. On the iphone it says, "Activate iPhone connect to iTunes...NoSIM card installed insert an unlocked and valid SIM to activate iPhone"

Please HELP!!!

Have an active SIM card in the phone (any one, it doesn't have to be the AT&T one), slide to emergency, dial *#307#, answer, hold, decline (if it kicks you back to the home screen before you can hold / decline, just dial 0 instead of *#307# and try again).

Add a contact.
URL: prefs:
URL: jailbreakme.com
Save

Select the contact
Select prefs
Choose a wifi network.

Hit home, dial 0, answer, hold, decline, go back to the contact and pick jailbreakme.com this time.

Scroll down, install appsnapp, and wait 10 minutes or until the phone reboots to the springboard, whichever comes first.

If the phone doesn't reboot, dock the phone, slide to emergency, 0, answer, hold, decline, and do the jailbreakme.com and install appsnapp again (for some reason this works better docked on downgraded iPhones, I had to do this and I saw reports of others having to do it as well).

Anyway, once you eventually get to the springboard, follow the rest of that tutorial to install oktoprep and do touchfree jailbreak.

Just got to Jailbreakme.com

It's all automated and only takes a minute...too easy!
