Hi guys,

I recently installed a SSD into my 2012 mini, which I brought new about a week ago. Everything went well and it was a direct hard drive swap so the motherboard was not removed. I am currently using a Cool master Quick fire mechanical keyboard and a Corsair M60 mouse, which were left over from my PC (which I do plan to replace)

Anyway, I had an issue with both this keyboard and mouse when the mini went to sleep. All lights on them turned off and neither would wake the system. I had to unplug them and plug them back in for them to work.

Furthermore, when I powered the system off and back on to do further testing, the mac just stayed on a grey boot screen and the lights and the keyboard and mouse lights were flashing randomly. Then system never booted and I turned it back off and on again, and same thing.

It was only then when I removed the ac adapter from the mini for 10 seconds, and plugged it back in that everything started to work as normal.

What could be causing this? I was extremely careful installing the SSD and everything runs amazing when I am actually using OS X.
